Will Stoner return to MotoGP?

Wow, the rumour mill going nuts again. But HRC Vice President Nakamoto says no, at this stage. Or something like that.

59 Nakamoto Stoner

He would have Casey Stoner back next season, but Stoner isn’t ready for this season. Nor is the bike and the team, mechanics etc. You can’t just hop on one of these bikes and go racing. They are almost custom made for the rider. I’d have a shot at it if given the chance. Then again, who wouldn’t?

Nakamoto got asked at the press conference at the Spanish GP if Stoner makes a comeback. That Stoner rumour mill is working overtime. Every few weeks there is a new rumour about his return. This time it was about Pedrosa being off injured. The Japanese rider Aoyama is currently replacing him. Although he didn’t do so well. He stacked it.

Never mind. I hope Stoner stays retired. Not because I don’t want to see him racing again, there are not many successful comebacks from retirement. He quit at the top and it should stay like that.
