FTC page 97, Prick of a spot
And you’re right, this is a prick of a spot to be in. Our friends are on a foreign planet in prison. How did they get there? Well, you have to go back a few pages to find out. At the moment they are stuck there with nowhere to go. The residents there just decided to have them killed. Now they are hanging in prison on a wall. This is a bad place to be in.
But then our friend finds out that he was carrying a prick in his hand al along. The horse isn’t impressed. He used the prick in the first place to pop the bubble when they arrived on this planet. He must have forgotten that he still has it in his hand. That should get them out of that situation. But we don’t know if that bubble will pop. We know nothing about this place. All the residents are made like a bubble. I suppose a cactus would be a dangerous plant to have there.
Maybe the bubble won’t pop and they die there. Who knows.
I draw this week on week. Sometimes I’m a few weeks ahead of the game, but not very often. I generally manage a few pages to sketch so I know where the story takes me and after that I have to think of something new. This prick here was fun for me to draw. You start to see that there is a divide between our friends. We have some friction. This can be interesting for future episodes.
