Valentines Day is over and dusted for another year. I hope you had a lovely day and didn’t get beat up about forgetting it. Actually it’s pretty damn hard to forget. My phone reminded me and I didn’t even enter that event into it. It just did it by itself. And I don’t even have the latest of the IGalaxyHPCSamnotes type of phone. Mine is an old fashioned button phone. Maybe some younger generation out there is scratching their heads now. What is a button phone? Never mind. Google it on your smart devise, you find out about ist soon enough. But yeah, It’s pretty sad that a phone has to remind me that I need to give my loved one a bunch of flowers and some chocolate.
We don’t do Valentines Day. It’s a bit over rated. I can give my partner flowers when I want and the chocolates I eat myself. Nah, I’m not that cruel. Of course I share the chocolate. neither of us are big into the cooperate things. If that’s the case I should invent a day to celebrate something myself. I would call it. Funny cartoon on a $10 bill day. On June 30 every year you draw a little cartoon on a $10 bill and send it to me. Only original $10 bill can be used. I will be the judge and the winner will get A $20 bill back with one of my cartoons. Think about it. You could make 100% return on your investment if you are chosen to be the winner.
I digress again. I wonder how many people went for a ride on Valentines Day Sunday and totally forgot about it. Then upon returning home to find out what day it is. Poops! I would love to hear the excuses that people came up with in order to wiggle themselves out of a tricky situation. Surely this would have been fun being a fly on the wall.
