Do you know that the Assen GP is on a Saturday? If you follow the sport a bit you would have known. I wonder how many got up on Sunday, only to find out that the race was already over.
Unfortunately our Aussie, Jack Miller binned it early in the race. That was a bit disappointing. He must have tangled up with fellow racer Hector Barbera. They both tumbled through the gravel trap.
If you happen to do that sort of thing, you’d be surprised how slow time goes by. When everything goes sky-ground-sky-gorund-sky-ground you have a lot of thinking time. It all happens in slow motion.
You probably go now: How do you know this? You don’t race motorbikes!
You’re right, I don’t race them, anymore! I used to. And trust me, I know how it feels to go arse about on the race track.
