Week 46, Endangered challenge

Are we all Endangered? Yes is the simple answer and we don’t deserve it any better. In this picture it’s quite evident that both of these creatures are Endangered. There is no way to go for the goats and the ice bear is also in a prickly spot.

If we are going on with what we are doing on this lovely planet, we all have to learn to swim. Those who can swim are fine, like the fish. We should think so. I suppose we can argue until the cows swim home wether climate change is real or not. I think we certainly have a huge influence. We can manage this joint much better. We have to remove a few politicians from the decision making process. Also large corporations. But that’s all for another time.

I started with this idea a while back when the Land theme was on. Endangered was a long way down the line. For some reason the Land theme didn’t fit this sketch and I ditched it. I finished it later on and shelved it. I would have redone it but it was still good. It has a simple feel to it. You can attach various messages to it and interpret it in various ways. That is your job, dear readers. I drew it the traditional way and didn’t use a computer until I scanned it in. The it was just a matter of fixing a few whites and tiny mistakes.

Endangered was fun to draw. I didn’t play with snow a lot up until this one. Sometimes it’s what you don’t draw that matters. Snow is a classic example for that. Luckily I do clouds a bit and it wasn’t all that hard to draw the snow. If you look back, the Scandinavian them was drawn after this one. It happens sometimes that I’m a little bit out of sync.

I hope you enjoyed this one
