Week 2: Outdoors Challenge

Ah, the great Outdoors. What can be better than that? We all enjoy the outdoors and we should go out a bit more often. Especially those who work behind a computer screen all day. We tend to spend more and more time indoors. I think we almost get to a point where we get disconnected from nature. We get all our stuff from the online store. There is no need to leave the comfort of our home. If you still one of the old fashioned people and go to the supermarket, you still don’t spend much time outdoors. From your house directly into the garage, into the car to an underground carpark and back. Not much of a challenge.

At least where I grew up my dad told me the essentials of life. How to make a fire and catch a fish. We went camping a lot. I enjoyed it. But there are things when you go camping in the great outdoors, that can’t be unseen. Yes I have witnessed a few things I’d like to delete from my databank. It’s part of the experience. When you’re outdoors, camping, you’re close to nature, close to basic living. That four star luxury isn’t there to provide you with a warm shower and a prepared English breakfast. You can still have the luxuries of life. If one is inventive enough you can have a warm shower and decent breakfast.

The goats are a bit surprised to see the happenings of the campers. I suppose for them we look like we just got skinned when we don’t wear any clothing. That must be a horrible thought. They survive that. Goats are tough. Our goats are very curious if I take my shoes off. they can’t take their hooves off. It must appear odd for them. Thats another cartoon.
