This was a great race. I really enjoyed that one. It was a bit of a pain to get up before 5  to watch the race. Then it got delayed for over 30 Minutes. I could have stayed in bed for a bit longer!

Never mind that. I like tho see the Ducatis up at the front again. They are satellite teams and have different rules to the factory teams. At firs they had 24 litres of fuel, like last race at Qatar. But because of their success there, the rules dictate they have to drop to 22 litres of fuel per race. Mind you that the factory teams are allowed to have only 20 litres per race. Both the main Ducati stopped in the cool down lap after the race. It look like it was filled just right with nothing to spare!

The delay this morning was due to a water spill on the track. There is a bridge for an overpass and they had some rain overnight. The Moto3 and Moto2 races were held with no problems at all. But the bigger MotoGP were held up for 37 minutes. I suppose safety first.

That’s where I got my idea from for this cartoon. The race was a bit like that, some satellite teams were able to mingle among the factory rides. There should be more of that and I think we’ll see more.

Jack Miller didn’t do too bad. He started in 19th and had a race long battle with former MotoGP champion Nicky Hayden who got the better of him at the end. Jack ended up in position 14. He got a couple of championship points for that effort. It’s his first year with the big boys. He moved straight up from the baby class, Moto3. Normally racers would spend a year or two in the intermediate class, Moto2. By the end of the year he should be better at it.

I hope you enjoyed the race as much as I did and we’ll do it all again in a weeks time when the circus moves to Argentina.
